Meet Our Planners
Born and raised in Tampa Florida, our head of the Breezin Weddings Division and Lead Wedding Coordinator, Jessie, has always had a love for planning events. From helping her mom throw holiday parties at their home when she was younger, to organizing events as the social chair for her sorority in college. She loved being able to see her creativity come to life. In 2009 Jessie joined Breezin Entertainment as the Event Coordinator, organizing entertainment for weddings and events that were booked by Breezin. It was her experience helping couples organize their wedding entertainment and seeing all the behind-the-scenes of what goes into wedding planning that she offered to help plan her best friend’s little sister’s wedding. It was a huge success and Jessie was hooked. She began planning weddings on the side as she continued to work as an event coordinator for Breezin Entertainment. In 2016 she realized it was time to make the wedding planning a real business and she teamed up with Breezin’s owner Cindy Dervech to launch Breezin Weddings, and the rest is history. Jessie’s passion for wedding planning and her sincere care of her clients is what drives Jessie every day. Sending her brides down the aisle on the most important day of their life and watching their faces light up when they see their vision come to life are some of her favorite parts of her job. Jessie leads a team of other wedding coordinators and assistant coordinators and loves teaching them her 14 plus years of experience in the wedding industry. When Jessie is not planning weddings, which is rare, you can find her enjoying time with her husband Todd and their three dogs.
Planning weddings has always brought such joy to me because you get to make someones most special day as perfect as it can be! It’s such a great feeling to see everything finally come into place and see the couple I work so closely with tie the knot surrounded by their family and friends. I have been working to help plan and coordinate our couples dream weddings for 3 and a half years now and have been working in the events industry for 7 years throughout my time in college and post-grad. As an extremely organized Virgo, who else would you want to handle the logistics and coordination of your special day! I have assisted on over 30 weddings with Breezin Weddings before becoming a lead over a year and a half ago.
For more than 10 years in the hospitality industry, I organized more than 50 different types of events: exhibitions, conferences, symposia, master classes, teambuilding, weddings, birthdays, among others. I believe my attention to details paired with my sense of creativity and a positive spirit makes me the ideal candidate.
Communication Professional with over 3 years of experience in the events industry with a primary focus on wedding & corporate management. Developed proficiency in numerous skills and relationship building techniques. Has a history of extreme reliability and dedication to work performance, goes above and beyond and will exceed all expectations.
All through school I told myself Wedding Planning was my far fetched dream job. I am so blessed that my first job out of college lead me straight to it. Jessie and everyone at Breezin have given me an amazing opportunity to learn and grow in within this Industry. Weddings bring such joy to my life and they are truly one of the most rewarding things be apart of. A little about me is that I love spending time with my adopted children (aka my roommates dogs), taking care of my plants, and rewatching Harry Potter movies with a large glass of Chardonnay in my hand. It was very hard to find a planner who would be the first one there and last one to leave on the day of the wedding. Even with COVID- we had some last minute issues with vendors and she went over and above to help us find replacements with only 48 hours until the wedding date. Our initial meeting with Jessie, my fiancé and I sat with her for close to two hours.
